Yeah, I have to give us some credit here, we made some adjustments after the Gulls embarrassed us last time and even fought back from behind. That's a good win regardless of where San Diego is in the standings. I don't enjoy facing these guys, but that's a repeatable performance. Just quit letting them sneak behind your defense next time.
Cardwell got the primary assist on both Carlsson goals, so he's now got 13 points in his last 9 games. Almost all of them are assists, he's only scored two goals on the year, with 18 assists. And he's also second on the team in SOG (85), so that shooting percentage is sitting at 2.4%.
We weren't shorthanded at any point during the game, but yeah we did allow that penalty shot. It was a physical game at times, but it was such a cordial one. Didn't really have any post-whistle nonsense.
