Hagg was giving Bords some guff and Scott stepped in with a hearty gtfo attitude

I always feel like I have to knock on wood when I say something like this, but Sabourin has kept his temper in check this season and it's been great. I don't mind him stepping in to defend Bordeleau at all. Last season he would play angry and take penalties just because he wanted to get a piece of anyone in an opposing sweater, and that's what was frustrating me about him. Have loved having his presence this season.

He’s been in every scrum between these two in every game. Appreciate his disdain for the organization.

I didn't catch many games last year but he definitely seems measured this year (knock on wood), stepping in when needed and not backing down when challenged. I loved his sequence aignst the Condors last weekend laid a hard clean hit and then cleaned Kannok Leipert's clock when he jumped Sabourin for that hit. He also seems to be doing a great job screening goalies.

I am kind of hoping the Sharks call him up the next time they play UHC, hello Stenlund, but do worry he might get claimed when sent back down.

I mean he’s almost 33. I doubt he’s anything more than an AHL lifer.
