Why is no one talking about the Oilers taking a whack at Svetch's head right in front of the net with no call for interference or high sticking or beheading?

If the referees can't see an egregious infraction like that, what the f*^*k are they looking at?

The Jets have to send clip of that to both the DoPS and the Supervisor of Officiating.

Lowry has been impressive for heart and grit lately. He scored a shorty tonight, and last game he set up Tonanato for a goal that lead to our comeback victory. At least Lowry plays with heart.

That just is not good enough and basically in a nutshell highlights what is wrong with the culture on this team.

That and the fact that we are simply missing too many players to keep up the pace they need to make the PO's.
No surprise here -

Win 2, lose 1 - that's the most I can hope for while we wait for reinforcements.
The top 9 changes completely with Ehlers, Copp and Perfetti back in the line up.
The best we can hope for is to somehow come out with a winning record until they return and then go on a tear.

He had his surgery just before the pandemic started and he was injured well before that, he has been out of the picture for a long time

Lowry is the kind of player you need to win a cup. Wish we had a few more guys that had his heart/compete.

Heart and compete is great, but if you don't score points or prevent goals you don't win games, and he needs to be doing more of that if he's locked in to a third line C role.

He's more dangerous on the PK than 5v5 lol.

Edit : I certainly wish Scheif and some others would take a few lessons in consistent compete level from him though.

Ehlers is a big loss
Copp- they better get used to life without him
Perfetti- only been around 20 games and has had an impact but not a game changer yet.

It is piss poor leadership. The selfishly and old whezzer show has to go. They were so impressed with having a few good games aka barely beating the Krakren, losing to Chicago that they felt they could take today off.
