Anytime he faces a decent team with Poland, he vanishes.
What could (and should) hurt Lewa is that he never could do it outside the Bundesliga (a well documented offensive league) and on powerhouses.
Anytime he faces a decent team with Poland, he vanishes.
His "performance" in this Euro was concerning.
I think Messi is still the go to guy here.
Gee, it's as if Poland was in a group of death in the last Euro.Gee, wonder why a Poland striker doesn't score more against top teams...
Not just for Poland but for his less then stellar performances when he's not on a hugely dominating team.He has scored 77 goals in 98 CL matches & has 72 goals in 125 caps for Poland. Blaming him for Poland putting a crap team around him would be very odd.
Gee, it's as if Poland was in a group of death in the last Euro.
If you saw the games you'd know.3 goals in 3 matches, not sure what more you expect. Lewandowski is quite literally the least of Poland's usually rather many problems.
Me too.IMO it's easily Messi.
If you saw the games you'd know.
Heck Poland fans know.

I don't think it would be a crime if Lewa got it, but Messi should win. It's got to be Messi from that list...
I would be happy to see Lewa get it. He had an amazing year for club and it would almost be a lifetime achievement award for being one of the best players that isn't Messi or RonaldoI don't think it would be a crime if Lewa got it, but Messi should win.
...at least from that list; I assume that Kruse isn't eligible so as to give everyone else a chance.
It would prove that Ballon d'Or is not the for the best player but for the guy collecting the most collective achievements.Jorginho winning would be lol
