It is amazing to see the mental gymnastics on display from those disputing Messi's right to another title. The statistics posted before clearly show him to still be head and shoulders above anyone else either as a forward or midfielder. I am continually amazed that these people have any grasp of what football actually is and what makes players great. Messi is one of the finest players to ever grace a pitch and his skill set is matchless.
