Funny sequence. The Marlies scored, but Caggiula drew a penalty with the most hilarious obvious dive at the same time, so they called off the goal and gave Bako a 5 on 3.

Pederson scored off a one-timer from the left dot on the PP.

The announcer was a little bitter haha. "They should give Caggiula an assist on that one and an academy award".

Hopefully Petrov can keep it going.
Does anybody have an injury update on Jarventie ...other than he isn't playing?

Two assists for Perreault already tonight including this nifty shot-pass for an easy tap in goal for Philp. He’s now at point per game in the short time he’s been in Bakersfield. As much as it was an odd trade when it happened targeting guys like him is exactly what I’d love to see management keep doing because you never know when you might find looked over gem. Not saying Perreault will be that guy but early returns are looking good so far.

Petrov with 5 points in his last 5 games now.

Things might finally be clicking. He really started to carry the play with Berglund+De Jong and earned the promotion

The line he's on now with Grubbe and Wright has been great. Grubbe is very much a young Philp and Wright creates so much space with his speed.

Petrov was one of my favourite prospects. I still have faith he can find a niche because I think he has a lot of facets to his game.

I thought the Perreault acquisition might have been curtains for Petrov, but it seems like he's finally stinging together a few strong performances.

Getting Pederson back and up to game speed also seems to have helped knock everyone down a spot on the totem pole and into a more comfortable spot.
