It's one thing for all these examples of guys missing time due to some freak off ice issues. Most of them were one off. The problem with Broberg, is he is constantly injured from on-ice problems, in addition to the now freak injury.

Didn't Joe Sakic miss a big chunk of time because of a snowblower injury back in the day? Guy with that much money doing his own snow removal, lol
Must be back in the Nordiques day when he was carrying the team

I assume Kane will be on LTIR so we'll probably be able to call up 3 players. Guys who watch Bako, who do you think should be coming up? I assume Janmark will be one of them for sure. After that there seems to be a big cluster of potential callups like Kostin/Griffith/Hamblin/Malone/Bourgault/Broberg/Desharnais/Kesselring.

I like Janmark, Kostin, and Hamblin as guys I would like to see but also wouldn't be adverse to Borg coming up. I think he has the most "potential" to replace the scoring Kane's absence leaves in the line up.

Gregor with a good interview with Bakersfield head coach. Touches on Kesselring, X-Man, and really good stuff about the adjustment to pro and requirement of prospects to develop utility in their game like ability to PK.

I believe that one actually ended his career.

What about Dick Tarnstroms inflamed pubis.

That was Dick, right?
I can see why you'd think that, but I think that was Tjarnqvist in 06/07.

Now excuse me, I'm going to go feel old.

Why is Pickard getting 100% of the action in Bakersfield? Isn;t the AHL suppose to be a development league?

It is, but you still slow play goalies development. If you keep playing them when they aren’t ready for the time or pressure you ruin them.

Bakersfield up 2-0 on San Diego late in the third.

Goals by Kesselring and Lavoie. Lavoie also assisted on Kesselring’s goal.
Kesselring up to 6 goals already. Condors highest scoring defender last year had 7

Kesselring's shooting% at Draisaitl levels though so a little lucky but still nice start of the season for him.

Rodrigue has played in 3 games so far IIRC. Pickard needs to keep sharp in case we have a goalie injury or both guys slump.

I wonder if they give Desharnais or Kesselring a call up? Too bad they aren’t LD. Maybe move one of the current RD to their offside (Ceci?)

How’s Philip kemp looking? Does he have the makings of a future NHL player? Seems to be having a nice year and is only 23
