Welcome back Raphael Lavoie and Vincent Desharnais! Lavoie with the Condors lone goal in the 1st period with Seth Griffin and Vincent Desharnais picking up the assists.
Vinny is back to picking up +/- pluses.

He will likely lead the team and possibly entire AHL in +/- again

The ghost wingers on this team better be getting nervous. I think Kostin gets the first call
Why? He hasn’t been all that good in the AHL for us offensively and he has been pretty damn rough defensively.
Maybe you are seeing something in him I’m not but other guys deserve a call up more than him. Unless it’s just cause he is big and sometimes physical.

His offense has picked up and his last goal was one most forwards aren’t willing or able to push for up on the big club. I put a bit less stock in forward D in the AHL. It’s also based on him being the most likely given his salary and the context around his acquisition. He will get time up on the big club at some point

If Kesselring was a LHD he’d already be up with the Oilers imo.

Funny because for years we had the Leftorium going. Now we have a logjam on RD instead.

Indeed, and the Leftorium today is more or less this:

Vancouver
6-3 Condors:

Kemp the big player in this one with 2 goals and +5. Very nice own blue line strip and three on one jailbreak which Kemp pushed through to score in the crease. Savoie 2 goals including getting his nose dirty in the blue paint. Griffith 4 points, +5. Kesselring -2 with a fight. Peters and Desharnais also scrap.

Nice win! Looks like Kesselring had a rough game. They should send down Puljo and Yams and bring up Griffith and Savoie.

Have you been able to watch many of the games?
I’ve watched two and I keep up on all the highlights. Looking back and reading stuff defensively he has never really been all that good.

Last year he did decently in the NHL in a 4th line grinder role so that’s really where he is fit.

He is big and physical but not all that good defensively or skilled. He has the makes of a 4th line grinder.
I had it mixed up. Its Kostin . I thought you meant Broberg for a second on 4th line
Im not sure what to say on our 4th line. They say Benson is close to be coming back. He looked good in preseason. Hopefully he can add

Broberg injured by a kitchen knife

horrible luck
Well that's one way to describe "a little banged up" lmfao.

Gonna out myself as a League of Legends esports viewer for a sec. But fun story. Invictus Gaming toplaner Kang "TheShy" Seung-lok injured his arm with a kitchen knife as a rookie back in 2018. He would go onto become a World Champion and is now considered by many the greatest player at his position of all time. Here's to Broberg's future Stanley Cup and Bobby Orr-esque career. ;)
