Bad hit on Jagr - why there should be special rules for older players

The NHL should color-code players according to how good they are. Do it on the color spectrum, the best players get red jerseys and the worst have to wear violet. The games would be white helmets vs black helmets.

This way we could argue endlessly about what shade of yellow Mitch Marner is.

A special rule? Sometimes I wonder if I'm old, if this is a legit hockey site or if people are just trolling. Honestly, nothing personal but if you are serious that's ridiculous.
Wasn't there a situation where Gordie Howe was going to play a shift in the '90s and some rogue people were saying to check him as hard as possible and he was like 70? Like that's what we're trying to avoid which is legitimate as I see it.

People who have some sort of jaw injury can wear that to be the warriors that hockey players are and play with that type of injury. It’s not a Crosby thing, I’m also sure that while you were googling that image you saw these ones as well.

Right and what I proposed actually exists already in NHL practice, such as

With those jerseys they are not eligible to be hit.

I think that the bigger thing is getting hits like these out of the game.

Bigger penalties. It's not an age thing it's about protecting the players.
