And no f***ing retention. The best trade asset this franchise has had in the last 10 years and we don’t maximize value.

I’m so f***ing pissed off right now

Top 5

Scouts run the show in AZ. Zero doubt about it. They have someone they are obsessing over around the 10 mark and want him.

I expect they are scouting the hell out of this draft class. This might be an all in at the draft which would fit GMBA timescale for the franchise.

40% of the rebuild now, then:
1= include Cooley+Guenther full time + perhaps one of 2023's if lucky in a non tanking yet poor season next year
2= then start looking at the playoffs in 2024/25 when the arena situation is sorted out/being built with am=n opening date set in stone.
3= then Matthews. joking.

If you told Bill Arsmtrong he could have Dvorsky, Michkov, or Yager etc... with two more seconds on top for Chychrun he'd take it. That's what this is. On the timeline AZ is on, raw picks are king.

That's a big IF OTT doesn't find a way to sneak into the playoffs.

If this is a top 8-12 pick we got a much better deal than DeBrincat. If this gets to pick 16 I'm going to be very displeased.

Really we can't begin to evaluate this until the draft but right now I'm not happy.

OTT currently 11th in a 4 way tie from 12-9. If that pick ends up being 9th (or 8th if one of STL/MTL/PHI/VAN can go on a tear) than that trade is absolutely worth it. 100%. Gives BA leverage to potentially move back into top 5 and have a second pick, could see Michkov falling to that, could be that Benson or Dvorsky or Smith are all there at that pick...that's a great trade if it works out like that.

I bet Armstrong is kicking himself for not taking that rumored kings offer that was said to be “substantial”. Clear as day he overplayed his hand, kept asking for more, and got caught with his pants down.
