Axel Sandin Pellikka Signs Three Year Entry Level Contract

Yeah I disagree.

XXX - Seider
Ed - AlJo
XXX - ASP

Seider 25 mins a night (PP/PK)
Ed 25 (PP/PK)
XXX1 20 (PK)
AlJo 20 (PK)
ASP 18 (PP)
XXX 12

Put your aces in their places. ASP biggest value is PP1. Maximize his ice time there.
If ASP is not better than Albert Johansson we are f***ed. And I like Albert.

Please just sign Gavrikov or Provorov, pair them with Seider and then run Prov-Seider-Ed-ASP for the next 7 years.

Personally, Edvinsson-ASP would be an offensive force. Both can skate with the puck and make excellent passes. Other teams would always be concerned that both players could start and finish a rush. They could recreate the meaning of "transition" on this team.

Yzerman's history as a GM, both NHL and national teams, is he typically has a L/R shooting defensive pairing. Although AlJo played his off-wing much of the season, that was likely by necessity, not by design.

Don't expect ASP to play with Seider. Edvinsson is more likely to be paired with ASP.
The coach determines who plays with who.

Obviously the GM has a lot of input, but Stevie is not the coach and GM, merely the GM. He gets the players, and Todd decides what to do with them.

Todd has done way too much as a coach in hockey just to have Yzerman handing him paper cliffnotes he must adhere to before every game.

It's quite funny, how Edvinsson-ASP would be more of "lidström-rafalski" and Johansson-Seider would be more "kronwall-chelios".

Anyways, great kids to have.

wonder how aljo would do with seider
Honestly I think he would do great. I’m liking him more and more and more. He’s starting to handle FC pressure better, he’s actually really hard on guys in battles, and he’s very smart. Do I think he’s a top pairing guy? No, but if you wanted to say have 3 balanced units I could see him being very good with Mo, especially if MO’s usages gets a little bit easier with the other pairs starting to take on some tougher matchups

I would be very surprised if ASP starts in GR. This kid does not belong in the AHL.
