I just don't see it with Bednar as coach. Bednar always want his new guys to prove themselves first. That's why I don't see Kovy anywhere but 4th line if he ever gets a spot. He does have a chance to win Bednar's trust by the playoffs though if there are injuries but even then I doubt he uses him on the top-6 this season. Next season could be another story if Kovy has a great TC.

I really don't want to restart this discussion. You can go back and read it but IIRC there were injuries at the time and/or healthy scratch and/or Drouin/Tatar were demoted to lower lines due to poor effort. I don't feel like going to search on this. I'm done with this discussion.

I’ve gotten deep into Torpedo conspiracy theories this year. One of their top defenseman to start the year, Sizov, just disappeared and hasn’t come back. One theory is he had a “disagreement” with Larionov’s kid and got booted. A lot of people think there are internal issues there. Fans calling for Larionov’s head, but I think he just got an extension.

Either way, they’ll likely get smoked by SKA and Kovalenko will be here soon. I only watched the first today but he was flying, very active. Team fell apart after that, which has happened a lot lately.

Very surprised if they make it a series vs SKA. Let's hope not.

Yah. Tufte was hot when he got sent to Loveland. I think he had like a 4 game goal streak or something and a bunch of shots on net. Gets called up and does nothing but pass. Got sent down right away but he was in the top 6 when he got recalled.

Possibly yeah. Depends on when he wants to come over, and if he has any visa issues he needs to take care of. Game 4 is on March 7th.
