That’s our wordSorry, I meant you lovely people
Yeah, and regarding Nichushkin, he wasn’t established in the top 6 immediately either. One has to think he’s a permanent fixture in the top 6 now. And with that in mind, I wonder if he can reach 80 points (if the top 6 can stay mostly healthy -namely MacKinnon). If he can get and hold onto Kadri’s place in PP1 and 2nd line center, Rodrigues will easily finish with more than 50 points.
Everyone in our top 6 finished with over 50 last year. That includes Gabe and Val who missed 30 and 20 games, each, respectively.
Also, it’s understated how easy it is to play forward when you’ve got a great defensemen behind you. And this year’s rearguard is healthy (1/6 hungover) and even better than last year.
Look for all of Rodrigues, JTC and Newhook to push for 50 points.
Let’s go!
Every time I circle back to a Cup run re-watch I am constantly reminded of just how God f***ing awful he was. Both of the blown game 5's are seared into my brain for eternityWTF happened at 5:45? Kuemper ffs...
He was busy eroding something around that time periodDoes anyone know the story of why ERod went undrafted?

Opinions on this chum?
He's looking for his big UFA payday that he couldn't get last summer. That's why he signed with us, to buff his stats up so he could sign a fat contract that will decline in value over the next ~4 years like all contracts signed at his age.Definitely deserves to be re-signed, if the price is within reason.
We're not keeping himDefinitely deserves to be re-signed, if the price is within reason.
Fits in really well with the Avs' quick transition style of play. I'd argue he's been underutilized as a center up to this point.Opinions on this chum?
He turned down a big contract offer at the beginning of free agency last summer (hence firing his agent) and wasn't supposed to fall on our laps like that. We're so damn lucky to have him this year with the injuries and all. He's looking for his big UFA payday that he couldn't get last summer. I was so excited about the prospect of you changing your name for good I didn't even think about the ability to just change the number...
