DQ said that Lindgren was held out for precautionary reasons and is likely good to go.
Was figuring he would miss some time either from concussion or some kind of broken bone/facial fracture. Glad he is ok.

There is no reason to ship DeAngelo out.

I see this future

Fox - Trouba
Skjei - DeAngelo
Miller - Lundkvist

If you can’t replace someone in the left side with a better lefty, play four righties. We have 4 incredible righties in the organization.

Seldom do you find a player with his skillset that plays with as much of an edge as he does
Reminds me of PK Subban in some ways, wants to play the same style, doesn't have that highlight reel slapper though

best thing is Avs fans are having a meltdown. I didn't realize they were on such a slump lately. They're tearing into Landeskog, Rantanen, even Makar. In their eyes its MacKinnon and everyone else sucks. But they're right about Grubauer, he's as mediocre as they come, won't win with him.

Choice quote "May be our worst loss of the season" warms my heart, good work boys!

There’s A LOT we have they can benefit from.

Kreider. Fast. Strome. Georgiev.

Even Lundqvist @50%.

If there’s any team in the league that should be trying to Win Now, it’s the Avs. They have a wonderful core with a top-3 talent worldwide in MacKinnon, scoring depth, young assets, picks, and over 6M in cap space.

Tricky thing is they might not need to make a huge trade to push them over the top (Like giving up their upcoming 1st or their top prospects ~ Newhook+Byram.

I’d love to be Colorado right now. All of their “problems” are good problems when you have the proper personnel.

Yeah, lol, I was thinking about this before the game. Zero psychology put into how Igor got this one. Normally you start on the bench a few nights, then get the nod shortly before one game so that there isn’t any time to get nervous, and what else you can think of.

Makes you wonder...

I was at the game.

This team has balls. They may not be strong but they have the balls.

Shesty looked solid after the butterflies went away. A few crazy rebounds too that ill chalk up to nerves. I love how he handles the puck. If this is what we have to look forward to the sadness from losing Hank won't be as bad. The I-GOR chants were great.

Also i love dancin Larry i dont care what anyone says.

That was a nice win! Still a bit to lose on defense but a lot of players showed some good heart after going down 2-0.

Honestly the breadman continues to just pull this team along and is the absolute reason this team was able to turn it around last night.

Jagr started the center ice tradition. Was there for that First game too.

as far as Quinn I Personally was calling For his firing (still am) not for starting Shesterkin against Colorado but for the team coming out and giving up 2 goals right away again. Luckily they settled down and Shesterkin made that big cross crease save that boosted his confidence. They score on that and he’s getting chased. It was a big save and he owned the game after that.

Two unlucky goals really. Defensive coverage was good on the first goal. Chytil was maybe a tad late gapping the point man. Thus the shot from the point and a perfect deflection. Second goal unlucky puck bounce over Fox's stick. They were changing lines, so Mika passed it back to the D to maintain possession.

he was admiring his pass. midget hockey 101, keep your head up!

That wasn't what happened. Their dman put a floater of a pass into an open spot along the boards for Donskoi to skate into. Dolph Lindgren read the play and lateraled over to time the hit, saying, I must break you.

All the folks who posted here that Quinn was an idiot to start the goalie against Colorado because they always like to say he's an idiot...

I might be in the minority that think Lingren went a little high with the hit, but damnit I love that he's out there looking to crush people.

But If he's going to keep doing that, and I hope he is, he's gotta be prepared to answer the bell. Kadri absolutely beat the wheels off of him. He jumped him like a rat but Lingren has to be more aware in those situations.

Lindgren can fight fine. He's had several scraps since turning pro. He just needs to learn that even if he throws what he feels is s clean hit, someone will be coming for him.

Kadri played it old school, pre-instigator--gave him a cross-check to the lower back to let him know he was ready but then started up the windmill before Lindgren could even get his gloves off.
