Oh, and for the record everyone - I don't know if people are aware about AVS new dog mascot.....guess what, it was ME that threw up the idea of Maxy - ME ! I suggested it to Moser, Keefe and Rycroft, and they LOVED it, and it's just been voted for on social media.

BTW, Maxy is Pete Mcnabb's nickname (God rest his beautiful soul).

Avs deserved better that period. Bad turnover by Girard.

Avs keep playing this way they'll either win handily or get goalie'd.

Decent effort to start they were WAY too fancy, too many passes. Should’ve just put the damn puck on net like Parsnips did.

Also got a bit lazy/sloppy in the latter half of the period. Put pucks deep instead of endless passes just inside the blueline that keep getting intercepted and sent the other way.

One thing is for sure. The Hawks are a terrible, terrible team, but they ain’t slow.

Lastly, this is one of those rare games every few times a season where MacKinnon thinks he can get away with a 70% effort.

I don't mind our broadcast for a game.

It's just way too much to listen to and watch for 82 games... for me. It's just way too positive, way too juvenille, and they treat their audience like they know absolutely nothing about the game. There is no effort to teach, when they actually show a replay, it's not the replay the on-air personalties are trying to talk about. Their production is much worse than what many high school AV club nerds could do.

I couldn't agree more. I don't want to break anybody's fish but I want a new PBP and color analyst for the longest time
