It's 1-5 in my books, that double cross bar and him being so far out of the net Bedard almost scored count. Wouldn't let him touch the net again imo.

Man, the Avs looked AWFUL in the 3rd period. Couldn't generate a thing, beaten to every loose puck, hemmed in their own zone consistently. That loss is not on Miner even if I hated the 2nd goal he gave up.
I'm about done with the Casey Mittelstadt experience and it looks like Jared Bednar is, too. Arguably the worst thing to happen to this club outside of losing 29/8 is Mittelstadt all of a sudden becoming an AHL caliber player. Bednar has no time for him anymore. He might genuinely be in the bottom 10 of skaters in the league. Either he has a major injury he's playing through or the Avs gave up their best trade chip last year for a guy who looks like he'll be out of the NHL in 2 years at the rate he's playing. Just an awful, awful player for two months now.

I'm honestly happy HF f***ed up last night. I was irrate watching that f***ing game. Can't think of anyone but Parsnip with his filthy backhand that I was ok with. I'm also about done with Sam Malinski. This kid is gonna get torn up if he sees regular ice time in the playoffs.
Would JTC look better at 2C than Mittelstadt? JTC is also locked up for a cheaper contract. And they would still have been able to trade Byram for other assets.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty much done with the Sam Malinski experiment, too.
So many turnovers lately from trying to be too cute in his own zone, trying to out-skate players when he doesn't have that kind of speed, trying to dangle when he shouldn't.
Extremely high risk, low reward defenseman. He should be used as a trade chip if he's desirable to any other orgs, whether it be for a different player or to recoup some assets.

It's a disaster and once again the reason why the Avs won't get out of the 2nd is because of the hole at 2C. That and the atrocious powerplay.

Can we trade? I only have the light theme and it's killing me.
As for the game, we were better as a team, but some individual mistakes and bad luck cost us the game.
Bedard is fun to watch, but man how the f*** is there no-one else good on the team? It feels like they've been rebuilding for years and all they've got is one guy.
