I honestly wish he'd just simplify his game, embrace being a bit of a grinder for a bit. Skate hard, forecheck, when the puck is on your stick launch it in the general vicinity of the net. Repeat. Sometimes you gotta just simplify and play a grinder game to get back on track

At one point in the season Newhook and Boldy weren't that far off in production. Now Boldy has more goals than Newhook has points. Le sigh.

The same way Florida got sick of us picking up the guys they wanted, I'm sick of the Wild picking guys I wanted. They got both Tuch and Boldy, both guys I thought would fit great on the Avs. Really wish they were more aggressive moving up the draft with guys that fit well on the team.

It’s gonna take a lot more than some draft picks coming in to save this Ducks squad (unless it’s Bedard). They look lifeless. A system coach like Bednar would do wonders for them. Less result orientated but more concerned with how they played.

it's like he expects too much from what he's capable of right now , like you stated , lower personal expectations and grind, make as few mistakes as possible and mature
