Also Nate sounds devastated losing Mikko. This is gonna take some time for this team to find its way again

It's completely unacceptable to have a bottom 10 PP with guys like 29 and 8 on the roster.

He also said Drury was hopefully that 3C we've been searching for.

If it was a matter of being a player or two away, one could look that way. The issue is this is the entire f***ing roster outside Mack (most nights) and the goalies aren’t playing hard. Trades aren’t going to fix that

Also, for a team that can't draft worth shit, a 14M price tag next season would cripple them. No Drouin, and the entire 4th line would be AHL scrubs. That'll get you killed in the playoffs.

The PP is killing this team, Nuke being injured makes this team way worse, the team falls apart as soon as the opponent scores. This team needs help and I think aside from getting Nuke back, this team needs the most help behind the bench.

That said, I really liked Necas and Drury. They played great for joining a new team less than 24 hours ago, jumping into a matinee game without a single practice or video session.

You know how it is with media these days... They all know that if they ask too many hard questions, they will lose their credentials and sources. And that's not an Avs problem, it's a global problem in sports media.

Which is kinda why I like some of the old timers like Larry Brooks in New York. He's old and about to retire, he doesn't give a shit. He will go out there and ask those questions. Anyone of the current Avs beat? Nah.
