On Mikko… it’s been tried and worked, it just never stays once there is any semblance of health at center. Which signals to me Mikko will if he has to… but not if there are other options and that feeling is well known.
Well, now would be a time where he would have to. It would also be a time for Bednar to do a lot of other things like playing a backup goalie, but he refuses to do it.
Don't get me wrong, I found it hilarious that some people are calling for his firing after the last few games. But this lineup is solely on him. He's the one running things, not the players, this has been heard from many accounts. There are things he could try to do to improve the team, but refuses to do so. Of course, we are just nerds spewing about it in the internet and he's the professional so things might not be as obvious as they seem to us but...
