Love the addition but I don't think they should heavily consider what was given up when it comes to potentially re-signing him. That's how you really get yourself into trouble and give all the leverage to the player/agent. He'll be 34 at the start of the next season so the three-year deal the Isles reportedly offered seems more than reasonable and if he wants more then just let him walk. Plus, searching for a new second line center every year has become somewhat of a tradition!
