Oh, geez, don’t see that number on an Av very often.

Speak for yourself, dick.Appreciate the link and article friend!
If he wins the cup with us, I have a feeling the Avs would like to keep him around longer, but man... I would no have problems with him giving us a cup and then deciding he liked it better on the Island. Thanks for sharing him with us and if things turn out and you are looking for a Western conference bandwaggon team to follow... we're a bunch of f***ing assholes and probably not what you are looking for.
But if you give a chance... much like mold, we will grow on you. Good luck to you and the Isles.
What's your definition of "short-term"?Hope he plays well for the Avs, likes his time here and signs a short-term deal.

I don’t really care about term at this point, won’t be an issue either way in the next 2-3 years.Hope he plays well for the Avs, likes his time here and signs a short-term deal.
All we got to do is find a property with a log cabin and an abandoned silver mine and he's ours for 4 more years. With Dreger tweeting that the Avs were Brock’s first choice, that should hopefully bode well towards re-signing him if things go relatively well.
3-4 years, I do wonder if some of his willingness to re-sign with the Isles was concerns on whether they would actually be competitive during that time frame. What's your definition of "short-term"?
Reports from his negotiations with the Isles were that he rejected 3x7.5 and wanted more term. Could also be just an excuse/lip-service because he didn't want to re-sign, but I'd expect atleast 4 years would be required (with NMC/heavy NTC), but probably (hopefully) at a bit less AAV.
You just know Minnesotais going to be the biggest competitor to signing him, too

I hope so.
I really think he's going to be a fantastic fit. And they have to space to get him re-signed.
