He was very good tonight. He produced a ton of scoring chances. Not really what I expect from him, but it was a welcome sight. He and Ivan seem to have some chemistry.

Kovy looked like a different guy after the first assist. Confidence showed up. He’s been a cut above every other tryout through camp.

Foudy had a much better showing.

Ivan is just smart. Bednar likes him.

Very weird hearing the Stars broadcast team talking about winning a preseason trophy.

The Dallas announcers were slobbering all over their team all night. All while playing a team that had a couple 4th liners playing. They must be so proud of that win... Very strange to be that into a preseason game that had their team lost it would have been f***ing hilarious.

Innala is exactly what I thought, smaller soft Euro, who can play well there, but belongs nowhere near the NHL.

Foudy was ok IMO, just a fringe player at best unfortunately.

He went 28th, the only NHLers or NHL-looking players seem to be Mailloux at 31 (we know why he wasn't picked), Zellweger at 34, Evans at 35, Stankoven at 47, Knies at 57 and Moser at 60.

It's really not the fact that there wasn't a ton after OO, it's more the fact we simply never hit on a later first round pick.

Maybe Ritchie can change that, but our drafting has killed us and any real hopes of prolonging a cup window.
