It's the details. This team is lacking in them right now. Playing loose, lackadaisical hockey with a lot of reaching and loss of coverage. This is happening up and down the lineup and I'm not confident that it's because it's just the regular season. They'll have a hard time just flipping that switch and tightening things up.

As much of an asshole as that kid was with the "Trade Girard" sign, maybe someone should make "Fire Bennett" and "Fire Pratt" signs.

Good effort by the boys so far. Can't expect to beat a good team like the rangers but they aren't giving up! Really proud of the team from top to bottom. I could see them building off of efforts like these and challenging for the wild card spot next season.

Scoring chances 10-9 Rangers BUT high danger chances 5-1 Rangers. To generate ONE high danger chance against the 31st ranked team in that category - only Anaheim is worse - is unacceptable.

They do this shit every year. The difference is we had a bad start this season (goaltending), so we're farther back than we normally would be. Can't afford to give up any more points to shit teams.

My point was that both need to go. We need two fresh voices and one of those needs to be someone the Avs would seriously consider as their next HC should things come to that.

I don't really know the dynamic the coaching staff has. Did Bednar pick Bennett as Pratt? Are those his boys? If Cmac fires them, is he going to be pissed? I'd definitely fire Bennett regardless. Pratt is at least turning around the PK. Pratt's issues always seems personnel related. That's never been f*** face Bennett's issue.
