It is certainly not trending in the right direction for George. He is bad more than he is good at this point. However he was eviscerated after game 1 round 1 vs the jets (and rightly so, I was also saying I thought he was done here). Lots of the same sort of things were being said then as now. He's mentally broken. He doesn't belong in this league. He's the absolute worst. And I think it was fair to be saying those things. But he did manage to turn it around in that series and play extremely well, out duelling a top goalie in helly.
So I won't ever say never with him. But as I said it's not moving in the right direction. I think he has it in him still. I think if he hasn't got himself a sports psychologist, or if the team haven't told him to get one, then they are kidding themselves. He is clearly in his own head and needs to figure it out.
