Speaking of garbage, this post reeks of itCan score 69 garbage time goals but when it was all on the line he choked.

You should probably check the stats on when he gets his goals. Can score 69 garbage time goals but when it was all on the line he choked.

It all reminds me McDavid last season. Regular season points, points, points... Now comes the playoffs and it is once again a different story.
Speaking of garbage, this post reeks of it
Ovi would have multiple 60 goal seasons if his prime was in today’s NHL.I find it crazy that Ovechkin never had more than one 60 goal season.
and to think Matthews already has 2 and maybe a 70 goal season under his belt before hes even 27 years old.
may not need so many 50 goal seasons as he ages to out score him.
long way to go but off to a great start
I definitely do agree with this.Ovi would have multiple 60 goal seasons if his prime was in today’s NHL.
What makes today different besides an influx of many more skilled players?Ovi would have multiple 60 goal seasons if his prime was in today’s NHL.
You could say that about a whole bunch of people from the past.Ovi would have multiple 60 goal seasons if his prime was in today’s NHL.
Why? His narrative would collapse under the intense pressure of reality. You should probably check the stats on when he gets his goals.
I think Matthews getting close to 70 goals is awesome, but that doesn’t take away from OV. Gotta remember, he was getting that 65 goal season in an era where the next two leading scorers got 52 and 50 goals that year.I find it crazy that Ovechkin never had more than one 60 goal season.

Boston and Tampa have had a stranglehold on the Atlantic for a decade and a half. There is a reason why all those talented Toronto teams got knocked out in the first round year after year.I'd love to see the Wings make it somehow.
How awesome would a Wings Leafs playoff battle be? Incredibly unlikely but if memory serves correct, they both used to be in the Western Conference...............
That would be something not seen in a long time.
But we both gotta go through some really tough matches and ones that are getting kind of annoying. f*** Boston and Florida right now. Just GO AWAY! Stop being good!
For sure.Ovi would have multiple 60 goal seasons if his prime was in today’s NHL.
I think that poster meant in today's watered down NHL without defense and good goaltending. Not just the current year.Years that 60 is hit or on pace for in this years league.
Matthews is not as durable as Ovechkin, on a season by season basis. He almost got 70 now, but most likely won't get that same amount next season. Look at his track record season by season...I find it crazy that Ovechkin never had more than one 60 goal season.
and to think Matthews already has 2 and maybe a 70 goal season under his belt before hes even 27 years old.

I could, however, the Leafs absolutely will not win the Cup with that core.We appreciate your riveting prediction. You can say that about 30 other teams too.
