Guy is on fire atm, 28 and still playing in his 30th game. Can he hit 50 in 50 legitimately?

It’s game 30 for him today.31st game. I believe the feat has to happen in the teams first 50 for it to be valid. Haha
The way he looks in your avatar, of course he has 69 career multi goal games. We are watching the best goal scorer in NHL history when it is said and done

And it’s the teams 31st game. Which is what matters for an official 50 in 50 as tracked by the leagueIt’s game 30 for him today.
70?He’s saying that if Matthews were to do it, official recognition is 50 team games or less. Unofficial recognition is a players’ first 50 games played. What I like to call “Unofficial Unofficial” is the 51 in 50 that he has already done in the past.
Remarkable either way. Hope to see him do it officially or in his own first 50, because it’s much harder to do than picking any random sample size one wants to.
Also hope to see him become just the 9th player to pot 70.

70?
No way.
Him breaking Vaive's record was something to behold. Even watching a condensed video of it is exhilarating.
We suck in the playoffs but it's nice watching this guy do his thing.
And he already has an unofficial 51 in 50. Real deal or nothing at this point. And it’s the teams 31st game. Which is what matters for an official 50 in 50 as tracked by the league
He probably would have scored 70 in his 61 goal season if not for missed games.
This is why Matthews makes the most money in the league. He keeps hockey exciting in December for Leafs fans. Worth every penny . After all this hard work he deserves a little golf in April.

If he stays healthy, even for just a few more season, he'll be the best Maple Leafs player ever. His numbers are tracking crazy.
I wonder how he matches to say Mike Bossy?
I agree. Just trying to keep things straight for the sake of clarityAnd he already has an unofficial 51 in 50. Real deal or nothing at this point.
