Detroit Red Wings proudly select Sidney Crosby, C.
What a jump! I think his body of work already puts him in Forsberg territory, theres no doubt about it.
Forsberg? Crosby? What?![]()
Forsberg must've been very high for me to do that. Crosby? Yeah, overrated/projection.Heh, I remember throwing together a list of the top centers of all time without putting much thought into it, and you went ballistic over how high I listed Forsberg and Crosby.

Anyway, the Whalers breathe a sigh of relief as passing up on Makarov to go for Gadsby and hoping to draft a center for Hull in this round worked out - and select Sergei Fedorov, C, to keep up with Bobby and handle the defensive responsibilities in a pinch.

I think Fedorov routinely gets overdrafted in the ATD, but yeah, he really is a great fit with Bobby Hull. And that's not easy to find.
Nayld - Nighbor's a much better player than Fedorov overall, but he doesn't have the speed, no?
**** **** ****.
Scooped again. The Edmonton Mercurys are proud to select C/LW Alex Delvecchio.Forsberg must've been very high for me to do that. Crosby? Yeah, overrated/projection. Loved watching him play! I've never seen someone protect the puck and absorb hits like he did (which, as I feared and predicted, led to internal injuries). He was a tank on skates. The puck was alive on his stick despite playing in the so-called Dead Puck Era.

Cool story bro, but who's that in the pic?
Lapointe was very high on my list of defensemen, nice pick.
Didn't even realize mark started off with 3 forwards. That's ATD blasphemy, but those 3 guys he's started with are damn good![]()
Yeah...Boucher belongs somewhere in the Schmidt/Yzerman/Lalonde tier of centers in this thing. I don't like Lalonde as much as you seem to, but part of the reason why is because of how much I've read about his wildness...fouling referees, going nuts, and just generally acting a fool...which is not common knowledge, as far as I know.
what? Lapointe went already?
Yup. 28 of the first 68 picks were defensemen.![]()
So I see you decided whether to laugh or cry...

Ridiculous.
Anyone know if jkrx will be around? I'm goin to party soon.
