Heard somewhere, he’s looking to do one year at BC and then make the jump.

It will be interesting to see if that affects Jordan Eberle’s future with the team (not saying they are going to trade him, just curious if they hesistate to ink him to an extension next summer).

If Ho-Sang actually gets his shit together, it will make things even more interesting. I'm not counting on it though, I think he's bait as far as Lou is concerned.

What's great about Beauvillier is his versatility, because now all of a sudden our RW looks good with Bailey, Wahlstrom, Ho-Sang and Beauvillier who can slot there, unfortunately we are going to be stuck with CBuck.

Wow still can't believe he fell to 11. The one thing i love about this kid is he is a man already. He can skate well stick hand well has a great wrister and a one timer. This kid has a chance to be as good as Brock Boeser.

Wahlstrom is a high end skater, Boeser isn't. Similar skillset otherwise. Wahlstrom might be meaner, throws his body around more.

True better skater then Boeser but it was the best comparison i can think of. Someone on NHL network compared Wahlstrom to Bossy but i would never do that.

As unfortunate as it is to type this, the addition of Wahlstrom is causing Ho-Sang to be more and more of an afterthought by the minute.

Personally, I’d like to see the organization ‘play the long game’ with him, unless he’s a piece that can be parlayed (in a package of course) for a top four defenseman or a goaltender.

The upside of having someone like Ho-Sang on your third line generating offense like he can do is much higher than say a 2nd rounder or another questionable prospect.

On top of everything else, he's a June birthday. Three months shy of being in next year's draft.

Agreed, I was definitely implying that Ho-Sang would be the sweetener in a deal as oppose to just cutting our losses with him. It'll be a very interesting summer. I'll admit, I wasn't too acquainted with Wahlstrom, I know alot of people had him top 5-7, so I am pleased with the highlights, stat line and what the kid has to say. Certainly puts Ho-Sang in a shadow, for now.

Bryan Trottier drafted in 1974, Mike Bossy drafted in 1977... three year difference.

Mat Barzal drafted in 2015, Oliver Wahlstrom drafted in2018... three year difference.

Coincidence? I hope so! In every possible way!

Dennis Potvin - 1973
Noah Dobson - 2018
We need a Gillies Powerforward, Lee can score but needs to learn how to drop the mitts.

Wahlstrom has a great shot but Boesers shot might be top5 in the world. Imo Wahlstrom is the more skilled player as far as far as stick handling and making plays. He gets accused of floating a lot and at times he has but so does OVI every once in a while.

For years we’ve taken forwards who are pass first playmakers. Now we have 2 true blue Snipers loaded with .50 cal rifles in Bellows in Wahlstrom.

Aside from him being a great player, he's such a good interview. He's not one of those typical hockey interviews that seems pretty monotonous and robotic. Seems like a humble and genuine kid.

Someone just needs to tell him that the Islanders aren't in NYC,
