Bye bye, Blatter. A long overdue farewell. I guess the heat was getting a bit too close for comfort for him.

Like a guy on my twitter field stated: First thing that should be done - Take away Qatar's 2022 World Cup.

Last year the slaves (because that is what they really are) building the stadiums had a death rate at 0.5 pr. day. Seven more years of that is 1300 people. Save those poor guys. Send it to someone who doesn't have to build everything from scratch only to take it down afterwards because there's no need for the stadiums. Seven years is enough time for someone else to make it happen.

I hope this means that US gets the World Cup in place of Qatar.

Well, you do have enough stadiums which are large and with a high enough standard, and infrastructure and hotel capacity are already in place.

I guess the main drawback would be to host it in the only country in the world where, during the actual tournament, you could meet people on the street saying "Oh, there's a world cup going on?". To be fair though, it wasn't too bad when I was in the US last summer during the WC. The interest is growing, it just still isn't quite there :)

Yea. The bars I went to last summer were wild, but you still had people stubbornly pooping on the sport for no reason.

I don't believe that at all. NYCFC has so many other problems. They don't need another creative CM.

Results won't matter much in the beginning IMO. A lot of people will attend matches through name values alone. As poeman said, it's also a move to strengthen the fanbase.

What an impressive result yesterday... I was watching the game and it was delightful to see the orange ones being defeated at home...

Props from Brazil
And LGR!!!

Lol scrubs, enjoy winning friendly's cause that is it for you. ;) When it matters you know where you stand.

its what the dutch deserve for refusing to call up van dijk. as soon as a team like sunderland or southampton buy him this summer though he'll magically be good enough. you cant be worse than BMI and that other dude they called up. also that BMI guy looked bizarre with his shoulder strap athletic tape he was wearing yesterday. it made him look like a hunch back with the biggest traps in the world.

I don't know why De Vrij was on the bench. Very good player. I'm surprised LVG hasn't went after him for center back.

TBH the defense is a disaster and I completely agree about Van Dijk I do not understand either why he is not called up, atleast for a friendly where de Vij and Vlaar where on the bench being injured. But the Dutch team at this moment are looking at a difficult time. Talent is to young, but coming and the defense is amateur level. Sneijder, van Persie getting to old and washed up. But fact is that we are looking at a gap. So the next EC we will be a non factor the way it is looking now, only bright side was the debut of Pröpper yesterday. He is the biggest talent atm with Depay. De Vrij is ok but also not top, Martins Indie is a joke, Janmaat somehow sucks in orange.

But I am afraid we have to look jealous at Belgium and Germany for a few years

Fun part is that the team is being burned today by the press, losing from the USA at home is a no go hahahaha but we will lose allot more in the future.

I hope they suspend the whiny little ****er for the rest of the tournament. Take you ****ing attitude with you and gtfo, *****.

Something about Neymar just rubs me the wrong way.

Not trying to back him, but he and his father are being investigated in Spain about is deal with Barcelona. He only knew that hours before the game against Colômbia. Go figure.
