That fact that he's listed as 5'11" and only 180 is crazy with the way he plays. One of the most hard nosed players on this team, like a little honey badger out there. Love this guy.

I hope to goodness they are able to retain Nuke. Having Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Meyers all together would be great building blocks for depth on this team. They are what I've been saying the Avs should be targeting, guys that can play in the Avs quick transition style, but don't need to be scoring to be effective. Hopefully LOC's ups and downs are from this being his true first full season in the NHL, because he can definitely play that style as well.

Barron is a good prospect but Lehkonen fits this team like a glove, and the best part is they should be able to sign him to a long term deal this off season and keep him around for a while without breaking the bank.
Perfect fit. At this point the big unknown is what his next contract will look like.
Might be close to Toews 4yr 4.1mil. Probably at least a good starting point for each side of negotiations.

Exactly what the Avs needed. Makes the team much harder to play against + we won't lose the guy for nothing.

Reality is, Lekhy is an awesome 3rd line and a guy that takes you over the edge with a top 6 like yours.
