As Vali said. This team is to Euro. Though, I don't think Andersson and Kakko play Euro. Playoff time, it most likely will be a problem. Thus, why I think eventually they keep Kreider and move Buchnevich in a package deal for a hard nosed, winger with some offense. JD already talked about getting tougher.

You just got tougher.

That's Artemi swinging with a guy 40 lbs bigger. He trains MMA now, so look out.

This is dumb.

JD also mentioned Buchnevich as someone who can benefit from Panarin. Quinn mentioned it as well.

He's not going to move.

I see Panarin breaking 100pts

Don't know about that tho that would be awesome. I could see realistically him being in that 85-90 point area tho which would be tremendous and it would help elevate the point totals of the Mika's, Buch's, Kreiders if he sticks around and obviously Kakko.

I owned him this past year in my big $$ fantasy league for the first time and so I watched alot of him via my NHL Center Ice Package I subscribe too.

I just finished last night watching about 45 to 60 minutes of Panarin goals and setting up teamates and a few things stick out to me:

Our new toy has one hell of a wicked wrister and snap shot better than I thought I knew already. Most of his goals are snipes up high left or right of the opposing goalie. He's not Ovie on his one timer but he's pretty damn close when he decides to shoot. He's not a dangler of the puck but he has some really nice dekes and moves when he decides to head to the net.

Bread is not afraid to mix it up as well when in front of the crease and is willing to take some punishment. His passing skills are ridiculous and obviously he's no Gretzky...no one is or ever will be but he make passes to teamates withought looking quite alot and on the tape.

I'm telling you fellas, this is the best player we've acquired either by trade or UFA since Jagr came to town. Only one close would be Gaborik and IMO Panarin is better than Gabby and will make more of an impact than he did.

Very excited to see what he does for us and he's going to help our PP exponentially. Can't wait for the season...:)

Panarin has missed six games in four seasons. I don't know what kind of injuries ha has had but he seems like a tank. No jinxes!

What would he have here that he didn't in Columbus or Chicago?

The one reason I could see it happening is that he'll be playing with Mika, who's probably the best center he will have played next to. He did play with Kane, but, that was in his first two years in the league, so I'm going to attribute some acclimation time, as well as him probably just now entering his peak. I wouldn't guarantee it, but a case can be made.

When you think about the influx of young players that have been added to the NYR's; Panarin, Kravtsov, Kakko, Shesterkin, Miller, Fox, Trouba, Hajek, Chytil and even Zibanejad. It's hard not to get giddy when you consider the talent that comes with these players. I can't think of a deeper influx of talent in such a short time in NYR history than what is being done now with this organization, Sure there is going to be learning experiences for the next 2-3 years but the future in my opinion has never been brighter. The Garden needs to begin to rock again, like it used to.
