Dallas Stars First Line

Benn-Spezza-Seguin

SCARY

Easily the best line in the league. By miles

Hemsky hit the jackpot in coming to Ottawa since he got to follow Spezza to Dallas with a 12M contract. He's having a horrible year so far with 1 point and a -4 in 6 games and now he isn't even playing with Spezza anymore.

Well supposedly they're putting Hemsky back with Spezza tonight and sliding Seguin back to center. At least for a bit of the game

I honestly hope that the Devils can come back and win this. If not, they will be on somewhat of a losing streak and will come into Saturdays game with a hunger to win.

This could be bad news for a team that has been off for a week.

Spezza just pulled the same shootout move that he did in our last game against the Penguins last season.

Vatanan is gonna be something special. He reminds me of younger Karlsson.

My god, does Vancouver ever suck defensively. They really need to get some strong defensive D on that team.

Draisaitl finally scores! :handclap:

Hurricanes are so bad it's funny.

but Foligno is just hitting his prime now. What he hit in Ottawa (and also prior to this season in CBJ) wasn't his peak most likely.

People assumed he wasn't a top 6 forward because he didn't ''look like one'' or something like that, even though he was putting up solid numbers and wasn't done developing.

Physical, versatile, skilled... very good player, always has been.

I dunno... he is turning 27 y/o next week, that's kinda old for HF standards (a joke but people use it when it fits their argument)

The rest of your argument, I use the same kind for the usual suspects around here. But I do agree, Foligno is a quality player but we sold high on him to get Methot, a #2-3 who hit his prime with Ottawa

Good for him for getting a chance on Johansens line and making the most of it. We still need Methot more than we would need him, its a good trade for both teams.

Exactly, and that's the case most of the time, no team really "wins" the trade... it's just some kind of fascination on HF (and probably some other forums)

Atkinson taking a skate to the face might be one of the scariest things I've seen in the NHL... Wow

Very odd how Kesler's leg and skate were up so high.

Atkinson was lucky to have that visor.....but a full cage or shield would've completely prevented any injury. From initial reports, he still cut his eyelid, but the main damage was to the cheek. Could've been so much worse.

After Edmonton won, they played "All I do is win win win."

Kind of cocky, especially after the start they had.

Meh, the Preds have done that after every win for a couple years now, even when they haven't been doing well overall.
