Regardless, whether the West draws LA or Chi it is going to be a tough matchup for either the Rangers or Canadiens, they are both very solid clubs.

Oh i don't disagree with both being good teams. I'm just saying Chicago isn't some sort of powerhouse that automatically would kill ANA/SJ or any top seed in the west. Far from it.

I never said they would "automatically kill" either of those teams, though, but they're noticeably better and faster.

Just like you simply saying "chicago is WAY better than so and so" means **** in reality aswell. It Once you make the playoffs nothing else matters and every team has a shot to win. However. SJ and ANA finishing near or in this case higher than CHI should at least indicate they can just as easily beat chicago as chicago can do to them.

Everyone thought the rangers would get killed for the past 2 rounds and are shutting up everyone. You being an NYR fan should know this especially.

I hope this series goes 7 with Chicago winning. I think it would be quite bad if the Rangers had to face Quick over Crawford.

Quick/Lundqvist is a wash imo. I would rather the Rangers have a serious advantage in net if we are going to face a team with bigger guns.

I don't. I think they are a tougher matchup because of that fact they are fairly big forechecking team. Chicago may have more skill but they don't have the size factor.
