Chicago only has one more ROW than the Rangers. We're just about as good!
I know! When I saw that stat I was in awe. More than the SJS. If some of those reg. losses would have been OTL, we would be in scary good position.
Realistically though, Chi's roster runs rings around ours and would wear us down in a series.

Is it time to just start rooting for certain teams to get buried? Personally, I want Toronto to win tonight.

Subban may have put the puck in his own net on the first goal, but he looked even worse on the game winner. What the hell was he thinking?

MacKinnon with a sweet goal and two assists.

There's no Calder in Kreider's future :(.

Any potential 1st round opponent for NYR is beatable. Columbus, Washington, Philidelphia are not world beaters.

Problem becomes if NYR win the first round, the chances are extremely high they will see Pitt in the 2nd round.

Unless upsets happen, NYR would have to go through both Pitt and Boston just to get to the finals vs a team like Anaheim, Chicago, or St. Louis.

Toronto faced a Boston team that had been playing pretty sub par hockey. Boston was off their game and Lucic had been benched etc going into the playoffs. That series was more Boston playing poorly than Toronto being awesome. After that Boston got stronger in each round until they met Chicago.
