With how lackluster they've been in recent years, we forget that Lamoriello trades the first round pick half the time. Conte and his staff still pulled guys like Severson and Henrique relatively late, which is more than can be said of Shero's scouting apparatus thusfar.

Though I guess it's fair to say the first rounders they did have have been pretty shaky since Zajac in 05. Josefsen might be the best of the rest, which is...yeah.

It could also be argued that anybody drafting Patrice Cormier should have been fired on the spot, unless they're drafting for a team in the Quebec Prison system.

Minnesota is the hockey capital of Americuh and it ain't even... how you say.... close. I don't think there's any one city or town that's way better than the others but on the whole Minnesota takes the prize. Some areas in N. Wisconsin and central Michigan make for nice runners up, but that's about it.

I, for one, expect my local politicians to offer tempered and reasonable assessments of the tri-state area when trying to bring in events. I am 12 years old and like to point out when they exaggerate.

Too bad their team sucks.

That last one is clearly Kessel's fault for eating too much before the game. On the whole though I found this collection to be underwhelming. Boring year in the NHL is probably also Kessel's fault. You think if I sumbit that to the Toronto media they might credit me in the story?
I dunno man, doesn't seem enough made up for them. ;)

Also, that guy sure had his eye on the puck!

I want to agree with you but it's so..... French. Sith warriors do not eat poutine. Especially since it gums up my regulator thing.

So Ryan O'Money drove his truck into a Tim Horton's while being intoxicated and then ditched his ride to flee the scene on foot before getting arrested. What a colossal tool.
