People said the same when the Devils and Canes pulled away and then we were right on their ass after our hot stretch.
7 point gap with a game in hand for us is hardly insurmountable. We play them 3 times still. So do the Canes, while our season series with them is over.
They got a Seattle + Carolina B2B coming up here, and then the hot Oilers next week.

With the Islanders joining the list of teams not bothering to wear pride jerseys/stick tape, it's like, what is the NHL even doing? If their member clubs don't want to celebrate pride, then maybe stop talking about inclusivity. If you're going to promote inclusivity, then maybe make it mandatory that all teams take part?

Like, pick a side. You're either all for inclusivity for ALL groups or just shut up and stop acting like you are when clearly some of your member teams aren't.

It's easier to talk about being inclusive than to actually practice inclusivity.

NHL still doesn't really give a f*** about poc, and the lgbtq+ community.

There's a high non-zero chance they lose the next three because they completely forget how to hockey in California, then Isles and Devils? One day off and Isles again? The Flyers might be better poised for the playoffs after that stretch.
