I’m fine with that call tbh. It was a knee on knee. I know they mostly saw that penalty similar to the rarely called clipping penalty when they made it a penalty. But I think they got them backwards. Clipping should be the major, and knee on knee should be the minor/double minor

I'm thinking more or less Power needs to get bigger and we need two bigger guys on the backend. Bryson and Joki would be eaten alive.

Maybe. I don't know. Thompson, Tuch, Cozens, Mittelstadt, Greenway, Quinn are all 6' or taller. Yeah, a couple need a few years to "fill out", for sure. Even Krebs has a bit of a bite to him. He just doesn't have the size / strength yet. They seem to have the compete level, just need time to level up.

Dahlin, Samuelsson, Lyubushkin, Power and even Stillman are also over 6'. If they are able to add a quality 4th defenseman who hopefully will have size, they could ice a pretty decent sized d-corp.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and once they get into the playoffs and realize how it grinds, they will have the size and (in time) strength to compete.

But.... have to get into the playoffs first.

and he was talking about the difference between a 23 year old and a 28 year old not a 20 year old compared to a 28 year old

I think they have the ability to play a playoff type of game. Whether they can do so consistently will need to be seen though.

The Tampa and Florida games we saw the team play a much more physical game, especially the back to back in February. We know they have it in them to do that, but they will need to commit to playing that way for the entirety of the playoffs. They aren't usually the team that initiates the physical play, but if they get pushed we have seen them respond.
