I still dont know why the Rez hasnt tried to get in on the action, they have a plot of land like 5 miles from that proposed Tempe site.
The NHL likes the Miami area. It would have to be catastrophic for them to move the team. Plus the Panthers have a great owner and they are obviously showing some success on the ice.

My only rooting interest now is that Carolina loses. The Eichel and Reinhart connections are meaningless. Dallas and Carolina are franchises who ended the Sabres' dreams.

I’m now irrelevant on Vegas. When we traded their 2nd for Greenway, the rooting against them became meh.
They’re the team I like the least of the remaining 4 though.

The only remaining team I actively want to see lose is Vegas. And it's because of Eichel.
He's a talented guy and he's a force when he actually tries... but we were lucky to ever get a full assed effort out of him here, and it'll always annoy me if he talked shit on his way out and is finally giving an effort somewhere else.

Or you don’t hold a grudge against complete strangers that were totally abandoned by their team and did exactly what you would have done in their position.
I want to see Vegas lose because in any league not run by the Mickey Mouse club their cap shenanigans would have had them plastered and slapped around. But this league is barely run, the guy at the top has no clue how to manage a professional sports league, and that’s reflected in its falling rankings in North American sports.
But Eichel is no longer a relevant person to my life and it feels good. I reserve my hate for guys like radko gudas. I’d take Vegas winning and their gm going up to the podium and admitting he cheated while laughing at the league before I want to see that prick have any life success.

Yeah, I honestly hardly care what Eichel does anymore. I'd rather not see him win, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it if he does. Harboring such strong resentment towards someone who acted reasonably, though not perfectly, in a crappy situation doesn't seem healthy.

I don’t like seeing any fans lose their team but I’ve also never seen a team that needed to be moved more than this one. Their bullshit contracts to reach the floor. Playing in a tiny arena. Gary wanting them there. Just a cavalcade of see ya later

I get this sentiment, but as someone who lives in San Diego and voted when the Chargers pulled their "build us a new stadium or we're leaving" in 2016...you have to listen to the voters.
There were a lot of "Charger faithful" who fought hard to keep the team, but the rest of us - people who dislike football, people who root for other teams, people who are against public funds buying things for billion-dollar private companies, and people who simply hated every highway within 5 miles of Mission Valley turning into an absolute clusterf*ck of traffic on game days - voted pretty firmly in favor of letting them leave.
The people of the Phoenix metro area have been pretty consistent in their message: most of them don't care about the Coyotes. They barely draw, they lose money, and tonight a majority of people in Tempe said they'd rather let them leave than pay for them to stay.
Let them go, and give another market a shot. I think the obvious correct answer is Quebec, but giving Houston or Salt Lake or Portland a chance could make sense too.

I won't watch much of it. There is no team I like in it:
1. Carolina. This team started the ZIP code restrictions for ticket purchases, in 2006. Their fans were *nasty* in 2006 when the only reason the team (which is separate from fans, yes) won was because of injuries. They accused @Drunkard or someone of eating babies. No, I cannot root for them.
2. Dallas, should be obvious, and Hull still won't admit it.
3. Florida. This is all about the no one wins before the Sabres win thing.
4. Vegas. Same. For a lot of Sabres fans, it's about Eichel, and I'm not going to rain on that parade. Rather, for me, it's more about #3, and about the cap circumvention.
i have no issue with eichel as hes grown up finally and i like our take of both trades and can out compete both fla and vgk. , now .. We lacked experience w the kind 9f lame disgusting grit that dishonorably won their series removing draisitl .
