Prior to the Stillman move, I was curious about Seeler in that role (3rd pair LD, designated face-getting-punched-er).

Probably not in the areas of need for Buffalo. Most of their Dmen are either not very good, overpaid, or guys you want no where near the team (DeAngelo). They have York, but he's still young and is a piece they could keep around to grow in a rebuild.

Farabee is also interesting, but not any sort of positional need for the Sabres.
