That's crazy stat, as is last Leafs series win against Bruins was in 1959.

Leafs defense is hilariously bad, for a team that pretends to want to contend.
That's what you get when you attach as much of your cap to your top 4 players as Toronto has done. They're a prime example of cap mismanagement and won't get better until they dump at least one of their "core 4" and use the cap space for getting better D-men. Hell, even serviceable D-men would probably suffice.

It is mystifying that there would be teams willing to give Marner his 12M payday. You either earn that by at least winning 1 cup or by not being a complete tool come postseason.

My best guess is Vegas pulls some shenanigans to load up again because they somehow always manage, or Utah makes a play. Sure as hell don't want him here.

To be clear I've never been one to give a crap about players not playing a physical game, but Marner is proven to be psychologically fragile. We don't need that for the current Ducks. Young players will gravitate to what Marner does because he will be one of the best players on their team, and he's a demonstrably terrible example of how to be a leader on the ice.

Bobrovsky has been an adventure tonight behind his own net. Second near giveaway with an open net in the first 8 minutes

Ryan Whitney brought up a point on Spittin Chiclets that I’m sure many of you will appreciate. One big reason why Vegas is out is because they lost to us in the final game of the season. Otherwise, they would’ve played Vancouver.

EDIT: This has been corrected as they actually would have played Edmonton, not Vancouver.

Missed high stick on Lindell by Lohrei, like right in front of the ref. Ducks-level failure of missing that call.

That being said, incredibly impressed with this performance by the Bruins. Figured this would be a concession given all the emotion expended with a 48-hour turnaround, but they’ve played well. Also helps that Swayman is running like god
