Honestly I don't think he'd be a fit here any more. He's making a salary now within spitting distance of Trouba's and is used only sparingly on the PK. And I don't think Fox-Pionk on the right would actually be better than Fox-Trouba.

I am very happy for him that he's found success though. I was one of his biggest proponents watching his game in the NCAA and thought he had real potential.

Agreed. There is no way Pionk would have developed here. Trouba produced 50 points with Winnipeg's offense. It just hurts we gave up a 1st along with him, hindsight a 1 for 1 would have been fair.
