Wilson came close on Strome last time we played them with a blindside hit. Strome was holding his jaw afterward and if Wilson had connected a little more I'm sure he would have been concussed. A couple games later he did it against a player on another team. He's coming in high a lot and he's getting away with it. That guy is a POS and a dangerous player.

I’d add Buchnevich and maybe give a choice between Kravtsov and Lundkvist.

Gun to my head I’d probably do all four and even add a 1st if necessary. IMO if we’re getting Jack Eichel without sending Fox/Miller/Kakko/Lafreniere/Shesterkin the other way, we didn’t overpay. Period.

If my quick glance calculations are correct, P Kane has been involved (goal or assist) in 37 of Chicago's 76 goals, or a touch under 50% of all their scoring.
This seems insanely high for any team outside of Madrid carrying Edmonton's offence (I think he's at 50%)

However the Caps announcer tries to parse it anyone can clearly see that Wilson's hit drives Carlo's head violently into the glass. Carlo did not return and my guess he's concussed. No penalty for that hit either which to me clearly should have been a major and a game misconduct and should be reviewed by the league for suspension.

The last time we played the Caps Wilson blindsided Ryan Strome and got a 2 minute minor for a hit that just nicked Strome in the jaw. Ryan was holding his jaw after the hit but wasn't seriously hurt but if Wilson had connected more Strome probably would have been concussed. A few days later against another opponent we had another incident of a very late predatory hit by Wilson on Mark Jankowski being discussed on the NHL main board here. Caps fans defend these hits all the time but this is a dangerous player who looks to hurt opponents and as much as some want to make out he's changed he's up to some of his same old bullshit tricks.

Perhaps @SA16 was referring to some trajectory analysis that showed that 9 times out of 10 Wilson’s idiot elbow wouldn’t have crushed Carlo’s head into the glass. I think the correct analysis here would be to simply watch what happened in this part of the multiverse.

His arms were down.
Carlo had the puck.
Wilson hit him with his shoulder.

Carlo was in a prone position and Wilson didn't ease up.
