They’re developing players well and have a good culture with nice carry over. As generations move on there’s always some guys from the old guard to foster the new. They have a lot of good younger depth forwards and keep producing defense. They seem to have a good young goalie coming along. They will hit a wall when they don’t have elite forwards outside of Pastrnak anymore. That’s the one thing they don’t have in their pipeline. Bergy, Marchand and Krejci are getting on. They don’t have the top end horses to replace them.

I wish we had their culture, really do. Tough, run through you, in your face hockey. The evidence lies in the history, they have been beasting for 20 years now. Can't go further back, I don't the Bruins of the 90s.
If history is evidence of culture, what does that say about our team?

just to be clear the 8-1-2 bruins who have the most points in the nhl despite being moved to a tougher division aren't contenders anymore?
Our division hasnt figured out the best way to beat them. The Flyers arent nearly as good as their record, and their star goalie seems to be struggling. That doesnt help them any similar to Shesty struggling.
I believe we easily make the PO's, as this team will eventually gel and seems to be starting already.
We're gonna end up 3rd, behind Boston/Caps
......unless Boston runs out of gas or loses Bergeron/Krejci or McAvoy. Not gonna say Pastrnack, he already missed games.

Stutzle some kind of special player.....FAST and fearless in this game . He and Tkachuk drove Habs D absolutely bonkers . Stutzle looked like he has played an extra month more than the rest....oh wait , he did !!! Forgot about WJ's . Loved watching the Sen game....hated listening to Hab blabbing announcers . All the Sens were missing today was a sniper to finish some of the chances they had . Kotkaniemi looks slow like KK...must be the big man thing because they look like slow motion compared to Tkachuk and Stutzle .

Seems like a problem with Finns. Barkov, Rantanen, Laine... all had skating as their weaknesses early on took them a season or 2 to get up to speed

Danault isn’t available right now but I could definitely see him being a UFA target this summer. Exactly the type of player the Rangers need as long as the term isn’t too long.

So you're saying they're gonna just let him become ufa and not trade him?

Expert Analysis: JT Miller is still absolutely f***ing putrid in his own zone and with his defensive effort level.

I think covid recovering zibanejad would be a ppg+ playing in that Canadian division.

woof does that group look bad.
Panarin should be leading the league in points along with Pavelski. That division has non existant defense and also goaltending for the most part.

In case anyone needs a refresher on the expansion-era Sens...
