I mean they were talking about sending him back to Germany a few days ago lol.

I agree with you in general, but it’s not like Stutzle has been lighting the lamp every night. LA definitely going to regret passing on him though.

It was never a consideration. More of a product of their coaching ineptitude, useless expensive cap related vets they added and cohesion/directionless squat. Imagine a complete trash like molasses man Stephan bobbling pucks and blocking Stutzle from PP time on the second unit in that 9 game slide. That is pure incompetence

Hey, that’s just what I was reading.

I said Stuetzle was going to be better than Byfield and challenge Laf going back to pre-draft. Laf looks like he’s going to be a stud, not worried about him ultimately being the top guy from the draft, but Laf > Stuetzle should have been the debate and is a lot closer than Laf > Byfield IMO. Yes, that’s considering that big raw guys like Byfield take longer. I just think Stutz is special. 4 goals 6 points in 8 games. 8 hits and 4 blocks as well.

I put $5 on the bruins to win when it went 3-2 flyers

easy $50 bucks

Good for you.
They've been pushing those betting companies (draft kings, etc.) I am actually starting to think about it. Once upon a time, used to gamble a little more often than I should have. Quit cold turkey.
Been 20 years now, but worried I might get addicted again. Lol.

They've made it easier to win (imo) because you can get a "feel" for the game. Think I've been wrong only once, with those under/over's entering a period. Easier when you are NOT putting money on it......but when you do, second guessing becomes involved. Lol.

Lmao the Islanders have lost 5 straight.

Last in division.
31st in GF
31st in EV GF
31st in xGF
31st in 5v5 SCF

13 EV goals in 9 games.
continuing where they left off in 2019 regular season, like the play-in never happened

they have some decent pieces but their roster is bad

I'm not looking forward to playing Boston. They are very annoying when are they going to finally decline?

They’re developing players well and have a good culture with nice carry over. As generations move on there’s always some guys from the old guard to foster the new. They have a lot of good younger depth forwards and keep producing defense. They seem to have a good young goalie coming along. They will hit a wall when they don’t have elite forwards outside of Pastrnak anymore. That’s the one thing they don’t have in their pipeline. Bergy, Marchand and Krejci are getting on. They don’t have the top end horses to replace them.

I don't consider them a contender anymore tbh.

In a normal year, they're the 3rd or 4th best team in their division (Hard to tell with those Canadian division teams, where every game is defense optional.)

Im looking forward to those games because Marchand no longer has Chara to hide behind.

Same.

just to be clear the 8-1-2 bruins who have the most points in the nhl despite being moved to a tougher division aren't contenders anymore?

very true.

I’m the same way, I only bet small $ on low odds. If I lose, no big deal, but if I win, I win like 10-1 or something. Doing that keeps me from getting in any real trouble. I had a feeling the Bruins were gonna break through judging by how that game was going, and made a small bet based on that feeling.

also removing my initial investment after I make a profit certainly helps. That way I’ll never be less than even

I was thinking they should trade down for stutz and draft another top player.

Well it seems contract talks have ended for a while so..Phillip Danault for Tony d ? Lol
