Me gets the feeling the Islanders are going to come out hitting and bashing anything in site as they are a desperate hockey team. If Tampa can withstand the onslaught of what you know is going to be the Islanders best shots, Tampa can and will keep this a very close game. Would not surprise me in the least if this puppy goes to OT. I just think the Islanders will end up prevailing when all is said and done tonight.

Islanders didn't get here by accident. I hope beyond hope I'm wrong and that the Islanders don't win tonight because than it will very likely be a short series. But I just can't help but think that Islander resilience of theirs which has become a staple of their playoff run, will ultimately shine thru. Please hockey gods...make me very very wrong and let Tampa win.....lol

The Isles are going to play better tonight because how could they possibly play any worse than Monday. They are still not the better team and they still will not beat Tampa 4 times to win this series.

Going to differ with ya Bob. I'd go Makar, Fox and than Hughes. Makar has already shown signs of how special he is and I'd not be surprised if his game elevates to the point where he's doing what Erik Karlsson used too do for the next decade.

Fox almost assuredly will be the best overall dman of the three and Hughes who is uber talented no doubt, I question whether he's going to stay healthy as he's not much bigger than his brother as he needs to add some muscle and put on some weight.

He does pretty well avoiding contact, at least much better than his brother does who has made a habit of getting blown up.

Makar has the most sizzle of the 3, he does the type of things that people will remember but is also the weakest defensively of that group by a lot. He's got time to figure it out but I doubt he ever gets to the level where hes anything more than average (and he doesn't need to be any better than that.)

Karlsson has always been a bit underrated in his own end. In that regard, I think Hughes is more similar since he's been painted as the guy who is weak defensively even though thats not really the case.

Islanders for sure trying to take chunks out of TB along the boards. TB has to be ready for those hits.
