At this point I'm just rooting for the Islanders to miss.
I just meant because it would be funny, lol. I'm almost ready to give up on our chances. The loss to Boston and Philly-Columbus OT really screwed things up.Islanders and Columbus due to injuries are the teams to catch. Carolina is a good team that is missing Hamilton, but it's not like CBJ.
The route to a playoff spot comes down to passing those two teams. CBJ more specifically, since there are 3 games in hand a 7pts back. OT point hurts, but it's not critical, yet.
Flyers have a decent team and a good coach this year. They are at very worst getting first wild card but probably 3rd seed in metro.

Gotta love the artificial parity in the NHL thanks to these 3 point games. League should have went to 3 point regulation wins a decade ago
If the Isles can't figure out a way to occasionally put the puck in the net, Lee is going to be asking Panarin to pass the popcorn.

yes he is. They are easy on pace for 20 plus points compared to last year
They're terrible on the road, and haven't even done their western Canada trip yet. 10 road games in March. Scored 2 goals combined in their last 4 games.Their miracle run earlier this season was the biggest sham ever.
I'd take the Rangers over them in 5 in a playoff series right now.

horrendous that Chayka thought Hall would be a difference maker. His charts and pie graphs look good but he's not a winner.
But Brian Elliot has a pretty good record as well. I understand some Ranger fans will never admit he's a good coach so will leave it at that. I have no doubt he is part of the reason they are much improved this season.Having a full time and healthy Carter Hart will do that. Their record with him last year was very good as well.
haha man we were posting pretty much the same post. I hope JG builds the Rangers opposite of how Dubas and Chayka are building their respective teams.horrendous that Chayka thought Hall would be a difference maker. His charts and pie graphs look good but he's not a winner.
