Forgot to ask a week before. How early do players get into the arena and how do they usually get there? I thought I saw David Pasternak before the Bruins game in the train a little after 6. He did leave earlier than 33rd but maybe he was taking a car. I know wishful thinking, haha.

well when you draft top 10 every year for over half a decade you're bound to hit on a few (unless you're the Islanders). They've had their strikeouts in Virtanen and Juolevi don't forget. The Canucks have been unwatchable garbage since like 2013 , I hope we don't have to wait that long to be a good team again. And lets be honest they are overachieving a little bit, guys like JT Miller and even Tim f***ing Schaller are scoring at will.

Karlsson is no doubt being dragged down by what San Jose has become, but he's also done little to make me second guess my concerns about giving him a huge contract for the player he was and not the player he is or will be over the course of said contract.

Any surprises? Any regrets? I love seeing Pionk thriving. CF%rel is third on his team, xGF%rel is fifth. Also happy to see Shatty doing well; his CF%rel leads the defensemen on Tampa. Miller having a career year. Vlad doing well playing minutes in Ottawa.

No, can't really say I have any regrets.

The biggest surprise might be Hayes, who hasn't wowed me since leaving NY.

Anyone catch the Caps/Flames broadcast last night?

Washington Nationals players were in attendance and apparently still celebrating their championship win... They had 3 luxury boxes/suites in a row and were acting like a bunch of sh*t-faced college kids, lol... After the first goal they cut to the Nats players and they were spraying beer everywhere and chugging and one dude pulled his jersey over his head and started pouring beer in his mouth through the jersey.... Then later in the game with like 4 minutes left they showed more footage of the players and this time two of them were pouring beers from their box down into the seats below (presumably into the open mouths of fans below).... Never seen anything like this during a sports game broadcast...

Glad Pionk is playing well. Some couldn't run him out of town quick enough.
