52 in 155.... lias has had 8 in 49...that extrapolates to 25 in 155....just food for thought.

Which means he needs 34 per 82 for the next 106 games to pace out the same. Not that I’m saying he’s gonna do it, but that’s really not something so extreme that it’s insurmountable.

Also, players progress on different arcs. *IF* Andersson starts to fulfill his potential, an ROR type is what he’ll be.

Every team that swept in the playoffs this year lost in the following round.

CBJ swept TBL in ECQF, lost to BOS in ECSF
NYI swept PIT in ECQF, lost to CAR in ECSF
CAR swept NYI in ECSF, lost to BOS in ECF
BOS swept CAR in ECF, lost to STL in SCF.
Extra layer of fun: Pittsburgh is this year’s team that was the ultimate playoff loser (as tracked by DownGoesBrown). Lost to NYI who lost to CAR who lost to Boston who lost to the Blues

And, not that it really needs to be mentioned, but they down have to follow the same path to end up similar players. Plus I guess you can say Howden has a chance of becoming that kind of player too

What's funny is that there's some possibility that they could have beaten the Blues in the Final.

so the offseason has started, right? Did Gary Bettman announce a trade before handing out each trophy. People always clap for him when he says "we have a trade to announce..."

Thank the good lord that the Blue won the Cup and ended their 52 year Cup drought. Had the Bruins won, this would have been incredibly the 13th championship and parade that Bostonian's would have celebrated in the past 18 years and that is not a misprint folks.

Yeah I might sound a bit salty but it's mostly because honestly I'm envious as the teams I have rooted for since I was a wee little boy 50+ years ago the Knicks, Rangers, Jets and Mets combined have won just 6 total titles so anytime a Boston team gets beat and doesn't have another damn f***ing parade it's a damn good day!

It's been almost 25 years to the day that Bettman handed the Cup to Messier as the dragon was slayed...seems like it was just yesterday. I'm looking forward to June of 2024 when Bettman hands the Cup to Captain Kakko to skate around MSG as we finally end our 30 year Cup drought...lol...:naughty::nod:
