No, Ottawa plays Montreal. Montreal gets the division since Boston lost.

Ok, here goes nothing; some of these picks are with my heart instead of my head:

Chicago over Minnesota in 5
Detroit over Anaheim in 6
Vancouver over San Jose in 7
Los Angeles over St Louis in 6

Pittsburgh over Islanders in 6
Ottawa over the Frogs in 6
Rangers over Caps in 6
Toronto over Boston in 6

Their fanbases have so much in common. It's ridiculous.

Someone actually said something along the lines of 'the Penguins get no respect'... Do they freaking watch/listen to ANY hockey related shows? My God all they are talking about is the Penguins. They're even winning the ******* poll options.

Both are whiny, bandwagon fanbases that think that they are entitled to everything they want and disappear as soon as their team does poorly.

Haha Bruins really **** the bed today.

That Bruins - Leafs series is going to be a good one.

Go Islanders!

Anybody but the Penguins (or the Capitals, obviously). I would take great pleasure in seeing them tested, and hopefully lose.

I love how winning SE Division titles are the crowning moments of supporting that team.

I guess it does make sense if you just started following the team relatively recently.

I love to remind them that not only have they never won a cup, they have never won a stanley cup finals game, being swept their only appearance there.

Nice picks. Definitely a lot of good bets you'll go 8/8 with those.

Picking with my gut, I'd say:

Chicago
Detroit
San Jose
St. Louis

Islanders
Montreal
Washington
Boston

And yes, the Islanders actually winning is a bazillion to one chance, but it just feels like it'll be a replay of Philly-Pittsburgh from last year...only with the Islanders actually having decent (not great, but good enough) goaltending.

Montreal/Ottawa is a real tossup....depends how the refs call it. The midgets tend to draw a lot of penalties, and if the refs buy all those dives, Ottawa is in trouble.

Washington/Rangers...battle if the consistently inconsistent teams. Who will show up to play?

Toronto/Boston...matchup of toughness versus the wannabe tough guys. Toronto will be demolished.

Good to see I'm not the only one that thinks the Islanders can give Pittsburgh a series.

Montreal has looked awful recently. With a healthy Karlsson and Anderson, the Sens win handily. Montreal sure has a lot of skill, but not too many gritty players besides Prust and Eller.

Boston and Toronto will go at least 6 games, maybe 7.

Like Chicago, Detroit, Vancouver, and LA to win their series
