Am I missing something when people say Hanks pads are huge? Looks the same as a lot of other goalies to me :dunno:

Those are Devils fans. Ignore it, for the sake of your sanity. Uncle Daddy wears slightly smaller pads than Hank. So it's basically a reach for something... anything to bring him down. It's pretty sad, really.
 
so if Ottawa loses, they become the 8th seed (and could have easily gotten 5th), against Pittsburgh, crazy.

Yeah they were talking about that which is why I asked how they could finish below the Isles. All cleared up now! Time to sleep and reset my brain lol.

It's because the average NBA fan cares more about individual players than teams. It's one of many things that bothers me about that league, because the league encourages that kind of crap. I kind of follow the Knicks, and it really annoys the **** out of me when a Knick crowd at the Garden CHEERS for opponents that go off for 50+ plus games.

When the cut-down was made, Henrik was bumped down a bit, so he wears his maximum size

Last season, Brodeur increased his to the maximum size the league will allow him

Brodeur is bigger than Lundqvist, so he is allowed to, and does, wear at least the same size, if not bigger than Hank

I wish they would've pulled it off too.

One positive - I don't see how Bob the Goalie can win the Vezina without taking his team to the playoffs. If CBJ had made it, I'd say he should win it. Now, I think it's about a 60% chance that Hank wins his second.
 
Looking at former Rangers in Columbus, say what you want about Prospal, but 30 pts in 48 games is awesome. The guy is a class act that put up points season after season, even though everyone claims he's finished...

hes obviously not done and I am sure he resigns in CLB. Then we can talk about all the Jackets in the Rangers division. Gaborik, Prospal, Dubinsky, Anisimov, Erixon, Tyutin

We wont like them much next yr:laugh:

too bad they missed the playoffs but at the start of the yr I would of thought the 8 that made the West would be in
